Cerritos is a rural city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. Cerritos once in the past was named Dairy Valley due to the dominance of dairy farms in the area. The city of Cerritos generally has a mediterranean climate throughout the year. Summers are warm to sweltering and winters are frosty. Once in a while, the temperature even falls below freezing. The importance of art and culture is pervasive throughout the city. For instance, the Cerritos Fine Arts and Historical Commission has an “art in public places program.” The city commissions artists to make sculptures and fountains to be shown out in the public for purposes of interest, commercial property, and gateways into the city. Castaic Lake, California is located in the northern part of Los Angeles County, California. Castaic Lake has the last conventional dairy cattle roundup with horses, lariats, branded irons in the Los Angeles County. The area covers 7.3 square miles of territory and incorporates the Val Verde and Chiquito Canyon areas. This region encounters warm and dry summers, with little to no normal month to month temperature of over 71.6 Fahrenheit. The city is a children-friendly place in that it consists of educational facilities. The Castaic Lake union school district comprises of four schools, three primary schools, and one center school. Carson is a city in Los Angeles County, California with a population of 92,000. The city itself is 13 miles south of downtown Los Angeles and around 14 miles from the Los Angeles International Airport. Warm summer mediterranean climates make up the city. In addition, Carson emphasizes the importance of health, higher education, and college planning in its community. The facilities available in the city are reflective of that. For instance, Carson has a sports complex called Stubhub Center which has a soccer specific stadium. There are two libraries in the city. The first is Carson Regional Library, and the second is Dr. Martin Luther King library. The city also has a major college called California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). Calabasas is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. It has a population of 23,000. This city has an aggregate region of 13.0 square miles. About 12.9 square miles of the region is land, while 0.1 square miles of it is secured by water. Overall, it is a great clean and safe little city with a vibrant community and great school system. It feels like a small region within the larger valley area. People can go for runs, walk their dogs, and even bike around in the canyon. Calabasas has libraries for individuals and quiet places to enjoy studying in. Bradbury, based in the San Gabriel Valley area of Los Angeles County, California, has a population of 1,100. Bradbury is bordered on the west by the city of Monrovia, on the south and east by the city of Duarte. Bellflower, based in Los Angeles County, California has a population of 77,000. This city has an aggregate region of approx 6.1 square miles on land and 0.1 square miles of it is water. In this city, the ambulance transport is given by care ambulance service. The general ambiance of Bellflower is positive. It has a little something for everybody. For instance, it has a Pirate Park behind a small Towne Center that kids enjoy, downtown eateries, and even local youth events at nearby parks. They have seasonal get-togethers like weekly free movie-nights and great yard-sales during the weekends. Bell gardens is a city in Los Angeles County, California with a population of 42,000. The city, surrounded by plenty of freeways, is about ten miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. It is a very diverse and family-oriented neighborhood. For instance, there are plenty of parks and park activities for people of all ages to enjoy. While being family-friendly, the city is also popular for real estate. Houses in Bell Gardens are affordable and clean. Bell is located in Los Angeles, California and is close to the middle of the former San Antonio township. It is the thirteenth smallest city in the country and has a population of approximately 36,000. Bell is also located on the west bank of the LA river. Furthermore, it is a suburb surrounded by family-friendly parks. Because there is no overnight street parking, the night crime rate is very little. In addition, there are constant police cars patrolling the streets. Because there are no nightclubs or bars in the area, it is a small town great for families looking for a suburban life.
