Artesia is a city in southeast Los Angeles County, California. Artesia is one of Los Angeles County’s gateway cities with a population of 17,000. The city is encompassed on the west, south, and east sides by Cerritos with Norwalk towards the North. Indian restaurants and owned stores on Pioneer Boulevard are largely characteristic of the city. The portion of these Indian restaurants are owned boutiques are even proposed to be designated as “Little India.” In addition, the city is also known for the Artesia water tower, a familiar landmark to many. Arcadia is a city in Los Angeles County, California with the population of 56,000. The city itself 13 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles in the San Gabriel Valley and located at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. Arcadia’s economy is run by retail trade, arts, manufacturing, health care and social assistance, wholesale trade, recreation, and entertainment. Alhambra, a sort of palace and fortress, is located in Los Angeles County, Greater Los Angeles, California. Mobilization has become simpler in the city with an estimated population of 84,000. Agua Dulce (Spanish for sweet freshwater) is located in Los Angeles County, Greater Los Angeles, California. It is based northeast of Santa Clarita at an elevation of 2,500 feet and has a population of 4,000. The Vasquez Rocks are located in the Sierra Pelona Mountains of the city. Agoura Hills is a city in Los Angeles County, Greater Los Angeles, California. It has a population estimated to be of 21,000. Located in the eastern Conejo Valley between the Simi Hills and the Santa Monica Mountains, Agoura Hills is on the border between the county of Los Angeles and Ventura County. It is about 10 miles west of the city of Los Angeles’ limits and 30 miles northwest of Downtown Los Angeles. Acton, based in the Sierra Pelona Mountains, is a small residential community located in Los Angeles County with a population of about 8,000. The town itself is 50 miles north of downtown Los Angeles and roughly 20 miles northeast of the San Fernando Valley. Acton, grouped together with the “AV” in the General Plan, is located off the Antelope Valley Freeway near Palmdale. Furthermore, a rural western theme permeates the town which is prevalent in its homes, commercial buildings, and even the historical buildings.
